Small Update

Hi everyone, thanks for checking out my videos.

I've been a bit behind on my video making schedule.  There has been a few events on this past weekend namely 20% off cash sale, the 3X event for SR and UR with a guarantee UR fighter, Izumi, a new dual element Fire and Earth fighter when you open 20 premium trucks with keys, and there's 20% off pvp energy sale.

I would like to make a video about that, but the events are over in less than 12 hours so not enough time.  I'm currently working on a training video to show you where to farm which element fighters and showing the amount of exp you get from using a training boost similar to my nemesis videos.

I'm currently working on training my R fighters as it's now possible to get R to Golden SR and SR to Golden UR, and UR to Legendaries.  I currently have over almost 400 fighters over my limit so I cannot show videos for opening premium trucks because I have enough fighters to start training with.

Have fun, and I'll see you next time.

Rage of the Immortals Changes from 1.10 to 1.11

Here are some of the changes that I noticed when I updated the game from 1.10 to 1.11 includes the following:

Fighters can now be sold for coins.  If you go to the fighter screen from the menu, there's a "sell fighters" button at the top beside the "heist" button.  You can select the fighter you want to sell and get coins back from it.  It's a nice effort to find another way to get rid of your fighters but in the mean time it doesn't feel like it's worth it as mentioned by a few players.  I believe if we can sell the fighters for at least the price of a pub building i.e. 30,000 coins it might be worth it.

They also added a social feature using Facebook friends.  Even though Facebook was introduced in the previous version of the game in order to earn a Rare Fighter Thunder Fist, they've added the ability to gift energy to your friends.  I haven't hooked up my facebook yet, but I think along the lines of Farmville where you ask for help and they give you energy.  It would be nice if both the person who is giving and the person receiving both get a reward, so it'll give more incentive.

PvP recently got some changes too.  I noticed that my 5th opponent reward has been the training booster fairly frequently.  It's great because I would only spent my cash to win if it was the training boost because I don't have much space in my fighter slots so this would help me level up some fighters.  Also, the 5th opponent now gives 1000 pvp points instead of 500 pvp points, so you can rank up in the leaderboard faster, and the pvp leaderboard rewards have been very attractive i.e. 8 SRs if you're in top 10.

One of the most awesome things in this new update is they increase the number of fighter slots, so I am able to free up some space to start training again in PvE.

They added a builder system, where Sylvia can only build/upgrade 2 buildings at the same time instead no limit.

This update also changes a few layouts in the epic boss screen.  I also noticed they improved they way the fighters are sorted in the training and fusion screens, so the maxed fighters don't show up at the top.

Rene commented on my video that PvE Energy recharges at 30 seconds instead of 20 seconds, which is 50% longer.

And lastly, clouds are more transparent, so you can see through them easier compared to the previous version, so you can see that there's going to be more levels to come after the resort stage in a future update.

And for those of you who missed my video, here it is:

Rage of the Immortals Wiki & YouTube

Recently, I've been fairly active on the Rage of the Immortals wiki.  It has many invaluable information including stats on the different fighters, where to find these fighters, friend codes, and many discussions.  There also a lot of active members who play the game who will answer your questions.

In addition, there's also my youtube channel where I try to make weekly videos about the game.  I noticed that there's been some interest in my videos regarding opening trucks to determine what fighters comes out.  Hence, I'll be making a video of over 100 my Rare Truck keys being used very soon. Stay tuned for some new updates.

Rage of the Immortals Nemesis

Most of you who plays Rage of the Immortals knows that every week there's a Epic Boss Fighter and there's a Nemesis fighter who the Epic Boss is weak against.  This fighter will be 3X more effective towards the Epic boss where there's a bonus in the defence and attack.  Unfortunately, after a new epic boss is rolled out, it becomes useless.

However, I just discovered that when you train that nemesis back into the epic boss.  There's a bonus exp boost, very similar to the training boost.  I created a video to do a comparison.  I hope that helps.

As a summary, don't waste your nemesis into a Rare fighter of the same element because you'll miss out a huge amount of bonus exp.

Rage of the Immortals Epic Boss Kenta

My first impression of Kenta is that he is E. Honda from Street Fighter with Yakuza Tattoos and a beard.  E. Honda is one of my favourite characters in Street Fighter 4 because he's a tank and he does a lot of damage.  The other Sumo wrestler in Rage of the Immortals is Akito, and he's an Earth Common Fighter so he's pretty weak.  Kenta is Lightning element.

Anyway, I decided to make a 3 part video of my Kaya party fighting the epic boss from level 1 all the way to level 60.

Here's Part 1 and stay tuned for other 2.

Rage of the Immortals Update 1.9 to 1.10 Improvements

I decided to make a video to show the changes that I noticed when I upgrade my version of the game from 1.9 to 1.10.

Here are some of the things that I noticed that I missed in the video:

1. PvP all in cost less for the first 3 waves
i.e. instead of wave 1 "all out attack" of 6

Wave | Normal | All out Attack (1.9) | all out attack (1.10)
1 | 1 | 6 | 2
2 | 2 | 6 | 4
3 | 3 | 7 | 6
4 | 4 | 8 | 8
5 | 5 | 10 | 10

2. There's 2 new ways to invite your friends to join using Facebook which you can get a R fighter
"The Thunder Fist"
HP: 100
ATK: 114
DEF: 149
SPD : 86
INF COST : 9

So there's a facebook button and a SMS button added to the friends page

3.  Many screens now have a "?" button to go to the FAQ at the top corner

Also I noticed that there's an iOS version and the friend code on Android works for the people who is on iOS to add.

Rage of Immortal is official and some info about fusing

I just noticed GREE has been promoting their new game Rage of the Immortals and was Top Grossing ranked 132 this morning.  I've been playing it since beta for the past 2 months.  There has been a lot of tweaks, and the game seems a lot more balanced than it was before and a lot more stable.  From 1.8 to 1.9, they've added at least 6 new characters that I found, and the stages so progression is a bit easier, and a lot of R+/SR+/UR+ got a huge buff.  It seems like they are promoting fighters to be fused properly than getting a strong fighter i.e. properly fused and trained level 40 R++ is as strong as a level 60 UR+.  I noticed they nerf the epic boss and farming is a lot harder in the latest version i.e. subterranean village is no longer gives you 4 UC, you get 2 UC.  If you're not aware of the fusing system, it takes 2 fighters and combine it into one with stat boost.  It works much like the evolve system in puzzles and dragons or brave frontier.  However, you don't need to fully upgrade/train both identical fighters to max level to do so, and when you fuse them it seems to take the average of the two fighters, and add ~50 points to every attribute, and resets your level back to level one similar to a new game+.  In addition, for certain fighters with dual element i.e. shadow and earth like Sicarius the epic boss last month.  You only unlock the second element when you fuse it to R++.  You can achieve a R++ two ways, you can fuse 3 Rs or 4 Rs i.e. first way (R fuse with R to R+) and (R+ fuse with R to R++), however, the proper way is to max your Rs to level 40, and (R fuse with R to R+ and repeat) and (R+ fuse with R+ to get R++).  The reason I say it's the proper way is because when you take a fully trained level 40 R+ with a R the average is lower, so taking two full upgraded level 40 R+ will give you the highest stats.

Rage of the Immortals seems fun.

I've been recently pretty addicted to a GREE Free to play game called Rage of the Immortals.  I noticed the name of the game has been constantly changing.  When I first played at launch, it was called "War of Rivals", then they updated the title to "Elements of Fury", then "Fighting Fury", then "Infinity Fighter" and now "Rage of the Immortals".  I was super lucky when I used my 20 cash (the in game currency) and got an Ultra Rare card i.e. Nia.  Originally, she was one of the strongest card in the game, but now there are even more powerful ones.  At the beginning, the game started very easy, and then they made it too challenging.  I like the art style because it references a lot of my favorite fighting games such as King of Fighter, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, and more.  The strategy of the game in order to progress is to "train" your strongest fighter (card) and "fuse" them with itself and start over when both of them are maxed.  Each card has an element which is similar to a Rock Paper Scissors mechanism i.e. Water > Fire > Shadow? > Earth > Lightning > Water...  The developer IUGO and GREE has been continuously balancing the game, and improving it.  It's very similar to another game they launched over a year ago called Knights & Dragons, which was one of the top grossing GREE published games on both Android and iOS.  I like how in Knights, you have guilds and be able to work together to win rewards, and pvp has different tiers of rewards so that you can use those rewards to progress through the game.  Hopefully, they also bring this feature to Rage of the Immortals, and be able to earn some awesome rewards.
